Even though Purdue cleared him of any fraud, Congress wants to take a shot at him nevertheless. Personally I've never heard of a Congressional investigation into potentially fraudulent use of federal grants by a researcher. Exactly how much federal money did Taleyarkhan receive for his research? Why so much interest from a Congressman?
Something stinks here, though I don't know whether something is wrong with Taleyarkhan, Congressman Miller, the Purdue administration, or all of the above.
